Raw Material
Often referred to as the “Tree of life,” coconut trees are among the most valuable trees on Earth. Furthermore, the area around Pollachi is known as the “Paradise of Coconut Trees” because generations of people have carefully grown coconut trees there. Working together, these traditional farmers and Remmy are able to source our raw materials sustainably and locally. We are endowed with an abundance of this pure, renewable resource—coconut tree husk—because we utilize this rejected byproduct, which is one of the best natural substrates for cultivating crops.
Wind Energy
Many machines are needed at Green Grow Global (PVT) LTD in order to keep up a productive and successful manufacturing process. Needless to say, this uses a lot of electricity. We have invested in wind energy as a green power source because we always place a high value on the environment.
Water purification
Water is tainted as a result of the numerous washing cycles needed in our manufacturing process. We built our own ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) to handle this. The purpose of this kind of waste water treatment technique is specifically to clean industrial wastewater so that it can be recycled. Ninety percent of the water we use is recycled through this process.
Rain Water Harvesting
We have installed a large rainwater harvesting system at our facility to collect runoff, which is subsequently cleaned and used to supplement the factory’s groundwater supply. We are among the few factories globally that continue to operate this kind of environmentally sustainable water self-sufficiency system.
